Today is the first day of a great new event in the Lotus Community: IdoSphere. A wonderful event by Mr. Idonotes himself, Chris Miller. He will be hosting the event that allows both admins and devs to see many sessions that are of Lotusphere caliber but did not make the final list. So, as an attendee, you now have the opportunity to see and hear live the speakers that submitted them, via a great opportunity Chris is providing the community.

This year at Lotusphere, many attendees had a thirst for knowledge on Linux and that was mostly unaddressed, but available at the Linux Installfest. If you were unable to attend, then on Tuesday and Wednesday, you can see three great sessions covering Linux.

The first session will be a joint presenter option with my speaking partner, Joe Litton, covering the Linux Desktop at 2:15p EST, Today (Tuesday, 15 February, 2011), and show you just how you can get to your Lotus data. On Wednesday, at 12:30p EST I will be covering deep dive technical version on Lotus products running on Linux. This is a very deep technical session with as much material I can fit-in inside an hour. The third sessions is being offered by a colleague on installing the new Lotus 8.5.2 Quickr for Domino on Linux by Jerald Mahurin and will be on Tuesday at 4p EST. So, lots of great Linux content at IdoSphere!
